Habitat and Description: Common in somewhat open live oak woodland on loamy soils of slope bwlow coastal prairie upland surface on Lissie Formation. Associates include Allium canadense var. canadense, Calyptocarpus vialis, Carex tetrastachya, Dichondra carolinensis, Diospyros texana, Elephantopus carolinianus, Eupatorium serotinum, Gleditsia triacanthos, Ilex vomitoria, Lactuca sp., Oplismenus hirtellus, Parietaria pensylvanica, Paspalum langei, Quercus virginiana, Sanicula canadensis, Sapindus saponaria, Smilax bon-nox, Tillandsia recurvata, Toxicodendron radicans, Urtica chamaedryoides, Verbesina virginiaca.
