Habitat and Description: Common in moist to dryish sand in bed and tracks of unshaded truck road through coastal prairie landscape on nearly level upland underlain by Goliad Formation. Associates include Bacopa rotundifolia, Cyperus squarrosus, Elatine brachysperma, Gratiola virginiana, Gratiola anagallidea, Heteranthera limosa, Juncus bufonius and Rotala ramosior.
