Habitat and Description: Occasional in open huisache woodland on fine sandy loam on occasionally flooded low terrace of minor intermittent stream draining gentle sandy slopes underlain by Goliad Formation. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Coreopsis tinctoria, Cynodon dactylon, Iva angustifolia, Juncus marginatus, Limnosciadium pumilum, Marsiela sp., Panicum hians, Paspalum plicatulum, Polygonum sp., Rumex chrysocarpus, Rumex pulcher, Tradescantia occidentalis, and Tridens albescens.
