Habitat and Description: Abundant in heavy wet clay along edge of functional but receding stock tank in valley of drainage between gravelly slopes underlain by Eocene sandstones and clays of the Jackson Group. Associates include Cynodon dactylon, Echinodorus berteroi, Schoenoplectrus saximontanus, annual Eleocharis sp.
