Habitat and Description: Rare in partial shade of willows in swamp-like area in backwater corner of natural freshwater lake. Associates include Aster spinosus, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus ochraceus, Diodia virginiana, Eclipta alba, Hibiscus laevis, Hydrocotyle sp., Mikania scandens, Nelumbo lutea, Platanus occidentalis, Polygonum pensylvanicum, Salix nigra, Sapium sebiferum, and Sesbania macrocarpa.
