Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist sandy loam along edge of riparian woodland. Associates include Ampelopsis arborea, Carex crus-corvi, Celtis laevigata, Cornus drummondii, Cynodon dactylon, Echinodorus cordifolius, Eriochloa punctata, Fraxinus sp., Gleditsia triacanthos, Hibiscus laevis, Hydrocotyle sp., Ilex decidua, Paspalum langei, Polygonum hydropiperoides, Polygonum pensylvanicum, Rumex pulcher, and Salix nigra.
