Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist alluvium in partial shade of Cladium jamaicense and Panicum virgatum. Other associates include Justicia americana, Andropogon glomeratus, Baccharis neglecta, Teucrium canadense, Lythrum sp., Samolus cuneatus, Scirpus pungens, Lobelia berlandieri, Eustoma exaltatum, Eupatorium serotinum, Cephalanthus occidentalis, and small Platanus occidentalis.
