Habitat and Description: Common in dry silt, sand and gravel among limestone boulders exposed in bed of Lake Travis during summer of low water level. Associates include Cardiospermum halicacabum, Chamaesyce nutans, Croton lindheimerianus, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus odoratus, Digitaria ciliaris, Eclipta prostrata, Eupatorium serotinum, Heliotropium procumbens, Heliotropium indicum, Neeragrostis reptans, Sesbania sp., Solanum rostratum, Vitex agnus-castus, and Xanthium strumarium.
