Locality: United States, Texas, Refugio, E side of a major N-S caliche road on Terrell Ranch, 0.8 mi. S of its Jct. with main road at HQ, ca. 8.4 airmiles S of FM 2441 bridge over Medio Creek. Cranell Quadrangle. Elev. 60 - 63 ft.

Habitat and Description: Corolla +/- white with lavender splotches and maculae. Locally common in recently herbicided but still brushy pasture on somewhat clayier soils in coastal prairie/live oak savanna on +/- level surface of Lissie Formation (according to GAT, but looking more like Beaumont in field). Associates includeƊAcacia rigidula, Acacia smallii, A. schaffneri, Berberis trifoliolata, Bouteloua curtipendula, Chloris verticillata, Condalia hookeri, Coreopsis tinctoria, Desmanthus virgatus, Diospyros texana, Euthamia pulverulenta, Hedyotis nigricans, Melochia pyramidata, Nassella leucotricha, Neptunia lutea, Oenothera speciosa, Prosopis glandulosa, Ruellia nudiflora, Setaria geniculata, Tridens albescens, Verbesina microptera, Wedelia hispida, and Zanthoxylum fagara.
