Habitat and Description: Occasional in grassland on deep loose sand on moderate slope at upper edge of river floodplain. Associates include Chrysopsis pilosa, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton parksii, Elyonurus tripsacoides, Eriogonum multiflorum, Froelichia gracilis, Helianthus debilis, Heterotheca subaxillaris, Palafoxia sp., Prosopis glandulosa, Rhynchosia americana, and Schizachyrium scoparium.
