Habitat and Description: Frequent in loose sandy loam or loamy sand in bluestem-paspalum grassland component of coastal prairie / live oak savanna on +/- level surface of Lissie Formation (according to GAT, but looking more like Beaumont in field). Associates include Acalypha radians, Amblyolepis setigera, Cnidoscolus texanus, Crotn capitatus, Hermannia texana, Lesquerella sp., Monarda punctata, Paspalum plicatulum, Rhynchosia americana, Schizachyrium scoparium, Schrankia latidens, Setaria parviflora, Tephrosia lindheimeri.
