Habitat and Description: Locally frequent in patches of bare soil in grassland dominated by Sporobolus airoides, Flaveria sp., and small Prosopis glandulosa, on moderately alkaline, presumably somewhat saline silt loam (Balmorhea association) on higher alluvial flat.
