Habitat and Description: With Juniperus ashei, Ilex, Diospyros, Garrya, Ulmus crassifolia, Vitis monticola, and Adiantum. Robust subshrub 50 cm tall. Fls golden yellow. Fairly common along arroyo but mostly past fl. now.
