Habitat and Description: Rays white, minute, numerous, rare in deep silty alluvial soil in shallow monor draw between low rolling hills of outwash colluvium within open grassy basin. Woody cover minimal except for a few Yucca elata and small Prosopis glandulosa var. torreyana. Associates include Amphiachyris dracunculoides, Aristida ternipes var. hamulosa, Asclepias subverticillata, Berlandiera lyrata, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Bouteloua curtipendula, Buddleja scordioides, Cirsium ochrocentrum, Conyza canadensis, C. coulteri, Croton pottsii, Eryngium heterophyllum, Euphorbia albomarginata, Gaura coccinea, Helianthus annuus, Hilaria swallenii, Machaeranthera sp., Panicum obtusum, and Ratibida columnifera.
