St. Rt. 71 and Thomas Springs Rd., ca. 2.5 airmiles S of Jct. St. Rt. 71 and RM 2244. Bee Cave Quadrangle. Elev. 840 - 860 ft.

Habitat and Description: Locally common in Quercus buckleyi-Ulmus crassifolia-Juniperus ashei forest strip at base of gentle W-facing rocky limestone slope, at upper edge of floodpain of intermittent stream. Other associates include Quercus sinuata var. breviloba, Brickellia cylindracea, Carex planostachys, Euphorbia roemeriana, Onosmodium bejariense, Desmodium paniculatum, and Chasmanthium latifolium.
