Habitat and Description: Mixed hardwood (laurel oak, white oak, water oak, magnolia, sweet gum)-loblolly pine forest and disturbance openings. Upper sandy terraces in some places incised by old channels and tributaries. Rays and disks yellow. Local in exposed sand in small opening.
