Habitat and Description: Mixed hardwood (laural oak, white oak, water oak, magnolia and sweet gum) -loblolly pine forest and disturbance openings. Upper sandy terraces in some places incised by old channels and tributaries. Rays and disks yellow. Local in exposed sand in small opening.
