Habitat and Description: Local among Quercus pungens var. vaseyana, Juniperus pinchotii, Diospyros texana, and other tall shrubs on rocky slopes and bottom of steep-sided canyon cut into plateau of Edwards Limestone. Herbaceous associates include Acourtia runcinata, Anemone sp., Carex planostachys, Chamaesyce angusta, Chaptalis texana, Hedeoma drummondii, Linum rupestre, Lithospermum parksii, Melica nitens, Omphalodes aliena, Passiflora tenuiloba, Penstemon baccharifolius, Pinaropappus roseus, Spermolepis inermis, Tragia brevispica, and T. ramosa.
