Locality: United States, Texas, Montgomery, Lake Houston State Park. Along and S of FM 1485, 3 mi. E of New Caney. Along W side of Peach Creek, mostly level terrace of HQ area.

Habitat and Description: Mixed hardwood (laurel oak, white oak, water oak, magnolia, sweet gum) - loblolly pine forest and distrubance openings. Upper sandy terraces in some places incised by old channels and tributaries. Corolla pale pink-lavender. Common in ground layer.
