Locality: United States, Texas, Colorado, Attwater Prairie Chicken NWR. Upland on W edge of historic floodplain of San Bernard River. SW side of a NW-SE stretch of road in N-most pasture. 0.2-0.3 roadmiles SE of its Jct. with a NE-SW road near center of pasture. 3.9-4.0 airmiles S of I-10 bridge over San Bernard River. Eagle Lake NE Quadrangle. Elev. 210 - 215 ft.

Habitat and Description: Abundant in dense rank stand of little bluestem-brownseed paspalum grassland on Coarse Sand range site. Associates include Ambrosia psilostchya, Anthaenantia rufa, Aster patens, A. dumosus, Baptisia bracteata, Commelina erecta, Croton glandulosus, Digitaria cognata, Eragrostis elliottii, Eupatorium compositifolium, Proelichia floridana, Gaura filiformis, Helianthus angustifolius, Heterotheca pilosa, H. subaxillaris, Iva angustifolia, Mirabilis albida, Muhlenbergia capillaria, Opuntia cf. macrohiza, Panicum hians, Paspalum plicatulum, Rubus sp., Rudbeckia hirta, Solidago tortifolia, and Stylisma villosa.
