Habitat and Description: Occasional among Quercus pungens var. vaseyana, Juniperus pinchotii, Diospyros texana and other tall shrubs on rocky slopes and bottom of steep-sided canyon cut into plateau of Edwards Limestone. Herbaceous associates at this site include Acourtia runcinata, Anemone sp., Carex planostachys, Chamaesyce angusta, Chaptalia texana, Hedeoma drummondii, Linum rupestre, Lithospremum parksii, Melica nitens, Passiflora tenuiloba, Penstemon baccharifolius, Pinaropappus roseus, Salvia roemeriana, Spermolepis inermis, Tragia brevispica, and T. ramosa.
