Habitat and Description: Rare in Copita fine sandy loam on root-plowed level area on flat between brush-covered gravelly slopes. Associates include Acacia rigidula, Acleisanthes longiflora, Asclepias prostrata, Bouteloua trifida, Carlowrightia texana, Dalea nana, Dyssodia pentachaeta, Gaillardia pulchella, Glandularia quadrangulata, Hybanthus verticillatus, Lesquerella argyraea, Nama hispidum, Oenothera laciniata, Psilostrophe sp., Quincula lobata, Verbena canescens, Verbesina encelioides, and Ziziphus obtusifloius.
