Habitat and Description: Ashe juniper-live oak woodland with degraded prairie openings. On top of mesas and ridges. Low Stony Hill range site and Palopinto extremely stony clay loam soil. Dominant herb on margins of oblong knoll thickets. Cor. pinkish purple.
