Habitat and Description: Locally frequent in pecan-dominated riparian woodland on sandy-silty soil on alluvial bank and terrace. Other associates include Celtis laevigata, Sambucus canadensis, Onosmodium bejariense, Nemophila phacelioides, Carex cf. perdentata, Galium aparine, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Allium canadense var. canadense, and Malvaviscus arboreus.
