Habitat and Description: Locally common on clayey sand or sandy clay exposed on somewhat eroding moderate slopes. In rather sparse vegetation dominated by Aristida oligantha and Eragrostis secundiflora. Also in denser midgrass vegetation with Schizachyrium scoparium and Elyonurus tripsacoides.
