Habitat and Description: Occasional in stringer of grassland dominated by Panicum obtusum, in deep, clayey to silty alluvial soil on banks of draw between low rolling hills of outwash colluvium within grassy basin. Associates include Asclepias subverticillata, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Conyza coulteri, Hilaria swallenii, Mancoa pubens, Ratibida columnifera, Vernonia marginata, and Xanthium strumarium.
