Habitat and Description: Frequent in exotic grassland on gravelly clay soil on high terrace or valley flat on top of Glen Rose limestone bluff. Grassland dominated by Bothriochloa ischaemum. Associates include Bouteloua curtipendula, Bothriochloa laguroides var. torreyana, Cenchrus spinifex, Lygodesmia texana, and Croton monanthogynus.
