Habitat and Description: Frequent in claypan savanna vegetation dominated by Isocoma drummondii and Sporobolus pyramidatus. Associates include Aristida longespica, A. oligantha, Desmanthus virgatus, Echinocactus texensis, Grindelia oolepis, Iva angustifolia, Lycium carolinianum, Polygonum ramosissimum, Psilactis heterocarpa, Spartina spartinae, Tridens congestus, and Willkommia texana.
