Habitat and Description: Rare. A few dozen plants among scattered grasses in shallow eroding stony clay soils on very gentle unshaded slope at top of Glen Rose Limestone bluff. Associates include Aphanostephus riddellii, Paronychia virginica, Polygala lindheimeri, Bouteloua pectinata, Thelesperma simplicifolium, Muhlengergia reverchonii, Schizachyrium scoparium, Liatris mucronata, Molina texana, and Chamaesyce fendleri.
