Habitat and Description: Locally common, 41 clumps observed on mostly unvegetated dry gravel/cobble bar on unshaded scour plain of Blanco River. Associates include Juglans microcarpa, Baccharis neglecta, Helianthus maximiliani, Xanthium strumarium, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Polanisia dodecandra, and Panicum virgatum.
