Habitat and Description: Frequent in grazed regrowth in coastal prairie burned a few months earlier, on sandy loam on alluvial terrace. Associates include Acalypha radians, Croptilon sp., Croton argyranthemus, Galactia canescens, Liatris elegans var. carrizana, Phyllanthus abnormis, and Pediomelum rhombifolium.
