Habitat and Description: Open moist prairie in Post Oak/Blackjack woodland. Gentle slopes. Bonti-Truce Soils. 1-8% slopes. Associates include Erigeron strigosus, Bromus tectorum, Schizachyrium scoparium, Ulmus crassifolia, Quercus stellata, Forestiera pubescens, Dichanthelium oligosanthes var. scribnerianum and Gamochaeta pensylvanica. Uncommon.
