Locality: United States, Texas, Presidio, Chinati Mtns. State Natural Area. Boulder Canyon, on steep, grassy NW-facing bouldery slopes draining N slope of Chianti Peak. Small arroyo in sight of lowest windmill. Elev. 5527 ft.

Habitat and Description: Gray Oak woodland with Quercus grisea, Juniperus, Agave hardiana, Dasylirion, Nolina, Opuntia engelmannii, O. imbricata, Adolphia infesta, Tecoma stans, Rhus, Morus microphylla, Bouvardia, and abundant grasses including Bouteloua curtipendula. Mat-forming perennial with draping branches. Ray flts basically white with a little pink venation.
