Habitat and Description: Steep, reddish N-facing cliffs with several ranks of vertical striations. Associates include Acacia, Celtis pallida, Rhus virens, Aloysia, Fouquieria, Yucca torr. Dasylirion, Opuntia imbricata, Dalea and Bouvardia. Erect annual. Fls purple. As edge of drainage. Uncommon.
