Habitat and Description: Closed canopy riparian woods along Rippy Creek. Gentle slopes. Yahola-Bunyan Soils. Frequently flooded. Associates include Chasmanthium latifolium, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Celtis laevigata, Forestiera pubescens, Vitis sp., and Cornus drummondii. Uncommon.
