Habitat and Description: Igneous gravel and boulders. At base of seep on W-facing canyon wall with Opuntia, Dasylirion, Fouquieria, Aloysia wrightii, Brickellia, Jatropha, Acacia, Bouteloua curti., Digitaria, Eragrostis etc. on slopes just above. Annual to 40 cm tall, culms geniculate, bases of culms and spikelets yellow.
