Habitat and Description: Undulating old stream and slough terraces, varying in drainage, sandy with humus. Closed mixed pine (longleaf, loblolly, shortleaf) and hardwood (water oak, southern red oak, sweet gum, black gum, magnolia) forest. Possibly remnant longleaf pine savanna. Dominant tree, 30 m. tall. 45 cm dbh.
