Habitat and Description: Steep igneous rocky slopes. Associated with Fouquieria splendens, Parthenium incanum, Larrea, Acacia neovernicosa, and Opuntia engelmannii. Small rounded shrub 40 cm tall. Fls lavender-pink, open at 0900 hrs. Fragrance sweet, slightly cloying.
