Habitat and Description: In open prairie. Moderate slopes. Bonti-Truce Soils. 1-8% slopes. Associates include Grindelia lanceolata, Ambrosia psilostachya, Cirsium sp., Nassella leucotricha, Mimosa borealis, Teucrium laciniatum, Artesisia ludoviciana subsp. mexicana, Thelesperma filifolium, Hedyotis nigricans, and Lindheimera texana. Uncommon.
