Habitat and Description: Ashe juniper-oak woodland above. Associated with Quercus fusiformis, Juniperus ashei, Garrya, Juglans microphylla, Diospyros tex., Sophora secundiflora, Ilex vomitoria, Bumelia lanuginosa, Celtis reticulata, and Ambrosia. Annual to 1 m or more tall. Fls pale yellow. In gravel of arroyo.
