Habitat and Description: Basin covered with Distichlis spicata, Scirpus, Sporobolus, numerous other grasses and Cyperaceae. With Typha in the wettest spots. Delicate annual to 20 cm tall in gravel in shade of shrubs. Culm bases red-purple.
