Habitat and Description: Even-grained "composted granite" red substrate. Associated with Viquiera stenoloba, Tecoma stans, Opuntia inbricata, O. engelmannii, Celtis pallida, Mimosa, Acacia greggii, Justica, and Heteropogon. Erect perennial 50 cm tall.
