Habitat and Description: Well to poorly drained sandy slope, stream terraces and drainageways. Closed forest of primarily hardwoods (beechnut, magnolia, southern red oak, water oak, laurel oak, and white oak). Herb 0.5 m. tall. Corollas yellow. Occasional on sandy embankment of high terrace.
