Habitat and Description:
Shallow permanent herbaceous-dominated pond and surrounding swampy mixed forest (red maple, bald cypress, water oak, willow oak, and loblolly pine) with ground covered by sphagnum moss. Corollas pale pink or lavender. Abundant (subdominant herb with Dichanthelium acuminatum in open flooded pond).
