Habitat and Description: Associates include Acacia spp., Rhus virens, Opuntia lindheimeri, Juglans, Bouvardia, Dasylirion, Fouquieria, Aloysisa wrightii, Senna, Artemisia, and Erigeron. Erect annual to 15 cm tall. In shade. Uncommon in thin soils on decayed igneous rock.
