Habitat and Description: Short hydroperiod, sandy low terraces among scattered cypress depressions and old slough beds, low forest dominated by water oak, white oak, loblolly pine, sweet gum with some lightly shaded openings. Dominant ground layer herb on margins of depressions, medium hydroperiod.
