Habitat and Description: Undulating old stream and slough terraces, varying in drainage, sandy with humus. Closed mixed pine (loblolly and shortleaf) and hardwood (water oak, southern red oak, sweet gum, black gum, and magnolia) forest. Light shade of roadbed just at edge of forest. Decumbent. Locally common.
