Habitat and Description: Gray oak woodland with Quercus grisea, juniperus, Agave havardiana, Dasylirion, Nolina, Opuntia englelmannii, O. imbricata, Adolphia infesta, Tecoma stans, Rhus, Morus microphylla, Bouvardia, abundant grasses including Bouteloua curtipendula. Erect clumping perennial 80 cm. tall.
