Locality: United States, Texas, Parker, Mineral Wells. Texas Air National Guard Training Base, Fort Wolters, TA 6. Along terraces of Rippy Creek, ca. 0.5 S of gravel pit. Rich riparian woods. Elev. 281 m.
Habitat and Description: Gentle slopes. Yahola-Bunyan Soils. Frequently flooded. Associates include Arisaema dracontium, Geum canadense, Chasmanthium latifolium, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Vitis mustangensis, Morus rubra, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Passifora lutea, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, and Ulmus crassifolia. Uncommon.
