Habitat and Description: Gentle slopes, Bonti-Truce Soils. 1-8% slopes. Associates include Hedyotis nigricans, Schizachyrium scoparium, Thelesperma filifolium, Dalea enneandra, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Erigeron strigosus, Aristida purpurea, Hymenopappus scabiosaeus var. corymbosus, Opuntia lindheimeri, and Asclepias asperula. Uncommon.
